Imane.net is a simple, static reference site. There are no accounts, no forms, and nothing to sign up for. This page explains the small amount of data involved in visiting it.

What we don't collect

We don't ask for your name, email address, or any other personal details, and we don't sell or share data with advertisers. The site has no comment system and no login.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and how visitors find the site, so we can improve the content. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, your approximate location, your browser and device type, and the referring website. This data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy. You can block it with your browser's privacy settings, a content blocker, or Google's official opt-out browser add-on.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical logs — such as IP address, date and time, the page requested, and browser type — to keep the site secure and running. These logs are not used to identify individual visitors.

Emails you send us

If you write to us via the contact page, we use your email address only to read and, where possible, answer your message. We don't add it to any mailing list.

Changes and questions

If we change how the site handles data — for example, by adding advertising — we will update this page first. Questions about privacy can be sent to the address on the contact page.
